Exterior Angles!!

hlep!

One interior angle of a triangle has a measure that is equal to the sum of the measures of the other two angles of the triangle. What is the measure of the smallest exterior angle of the triangle in degrees?

I see you have graph paper.
You must be plotting something

Re: Exterior Angles!!

Hi cooljackiec;

I am getting 90°.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics.
I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on.

Re: Exterior Angles!!

Thanks, i get it now.

What is the measure (in degrees) of the smallest interior angle of a triangle in which the exterior angle measures have the ratio 3:4:5?

Re: Exterior Angles!!

hi cooljackiec

The exterior angles of any polygon add up to 360.

3+4+5=12

360/12 = 30

so exteriors are 90:120:150

Hi;

It is no trouble for me at all. I like solving problems. But I hope you are trying to solve them too.
