Re: A number problem.

Do not be sorry, you are doing well.

That answer is one digit too long.

Re: A number problem.

Yes, but we are supposed to append a0 to its end

Hi bobbym

I would say it is time for the next one.

Re: A number problem.

Hi Agnishom

Start with writing the digit 1 and the digit 0 above it. Now, for any pair of numbers you have, multiply the lower number by 6 and add the upper number. The result should be a two digit number (if it's a one-digit number, just prepend a 0). Write the result next to the previous one, with the first digit above the second one. So, at the beginning you will have something like:
0 0 3 3 5 4 4
1 6 6 9 7 6 0 ...
Do this until you get back to 0 over 1.

Tell me when you are finished writing this!

Just keep going until you get 0 on top and 5 on bottom.

Re: A number problem.

Okay. Now find all pairs which have 0 above, but which do not follow a pair which has a 0 below. Eg. you would take (0,7) if it were after (1,2), but not if it were after (4,0).
