Re: Python!

But, how did he get the points to spread out across the x axis, but not the y axis?

The limit operator is just an excuse for doing something you know you can't.

Re: Python!

I do not remember what he did wrong.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.
All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof.

Okay. I am just glad it was not your mistake.

Heck no. That guy was typical of the math community.

Luckily for this forum, you are not typical, let alone a typical mathematician.

Re: Python!

Typical anything bores me to tears. I will have to replace that drawing but I am still having some difficulties uploading an image easily.

Re: Python!

Will you please fire up mathematica and count it? I guess computer vision libraries can do it very fast

Re: Python!

Hi;

I have no idea how to do that with mathematica or any other program. Do you have any ideas?

Re: Python!

I instructed them to do 382, but then some of them must have been displaced

Those look like jellybeans so maybe some of them got eaten...

I suppose there are a total of 500?

Re: Python!

Hi Agnishom

I did do it by hand, so there may be slight variations.
