Tricky Maths Puzzle

Can anyone help me with this:   TOM CRUISE WAS BORN IN 1962.
                                               HE HAS STARRED IN 30 FILMS,
                                               INCLUDING THE FIRM, COKTAIL,
                                               AND COLLATERAL


                                              ADD ALL THE NUMBERS
It is not the obvious 1992
I think you have to add every single  number you find

Possibly it means 1+9+6+2+3+0.

If so, the answer is 21.

if that's the case then we might need someone who is good with permutations to solve this one.

It looks like you got them all. Now just add the 3, 0 and 30 and we'll have the answer.

If the puzzle wants you to do that, then the answer is 3348.

Wouldn't we then have to find numbers in and out of order also. From that 1962, we could also extract 16 and 92, not to mention 2691,269,26....etc.  That is why I thought that we might need a permutation.

only from 1962 we can form 24 different 4 digit numbers, 24 3-digit numbers, 12 2-digit numbers and 4 1-gigit numbers, 30 gives you only three numbers (30 3 and 0) so there are 65 different numbers!!
