Re: post prime numbers!1234567891 and 123456791 easy to remember primes for testing some things in number theory. Writing "pretty" math (two dimensional) is easier to read and grasp than LaTex (one dimensional). LaTex is like painting on many strips of paper and then stacking them to see what picture they make. #27 2013-01-14 08:04:22

Re: post prime numbers! The fourth repunit prime is huge In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on. #30 2013-04-19 18:16:08
Re: post prime numbers!13 - The unlucky number Star members have too many stars. So, if I congratulate new star members, so, that means I need more stars for my picture? #31 2013-04-19 20:43:46
Re: post prime numbers!3691 the only primenumber I have noticed till now in a car's number plate 'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.' 'God exists because Mathematics is consistent, and the devil exists because we cannot prove it' 'The whole person changes, why can't a habit?' -65 #32 2013-04-20 11:07:19
