Re: What do you think?Hi;
http://www.mathisfunforum.com/viewtopic … 15#p212615 In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #2003 20130110 12:47:53

Re: What do you think?No, no, no. I was making a joke, I think you meant him but since you did not say the name I was saying you said me. Hard to explain. In mathematics, you don't understand things. Re: What do you think?It was an unclear reference so I was using that. And who says I think you do not agree with me ever? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Re: What do you think?Hmmm, to write papers and publish you need to solve the problem. That means finding the right problems to work on. No publish, no eat, do you see the point? Re: What do you think?
Everyone wants to solve the big ones but very few can. Take what that guy is doing with his supposed bust to calculus. Instead of being satisfied with doing math and having a good time, he thinks he is tremendously brilliant and is going to revamp all of mathematics. The result, he is barred from a hundred forums. He never has any fun, thinks everyone is robbing him of his rightful place in history and refuses to study any more math because he thinks all of it is lies. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.
