### Re: binomial thereom

Hi;

By the binomial theorem or Pascals triangle

Now just substitute for a and b

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics.
I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on.

hi cooljackiec

The term with c^3 will be

The term in (a+2b)^3 with ab^2 will be

So the coefficient you want will be:

### Re: binomial thereom

Hey cooljackiec!

You might google "multinomial coefficients" and check out some of the sites to see how to easily
obtain the coefficient of the ab^2c^3 term in (a+2b+3c)^6.  I'm guessing that that is where bobbym
