Hi Agnishom;

**In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.**

**I agree with you regarding the satisfaction and importance of actually computing some numbers. I can't tell you how often I see time and money wasted because someone didn't bother to run the numbers.**

What led you to the conjecture?

'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.'

'God exists because Mathematics is consistent, and the devil exists because we cannot prove it'

Hi;

Experimental math will produce the correct answer or one that is very close nearly all the time. Not quite rigorous enough for mathematicians but in the real world computation is king.

In addition it suggests a useful property of the possible triangle. I will work on a proof for you but for now I have chores to do.

So, you used Geogebra?

Yes and a few simple rules.

Hi;

Would you send me the file?

Yes, if you want it. Or, I could post how I did it in Computer math...

Hi Agnishom;

Scientia has just supplied me with this link. Much thanks.

Yes!

Thank you so much, Scientia!

How do I put this as a proof? Would it be rigorous enough? I think the man is also doing experimental geometry

Hi Agnishom;

Did you understand that the first part shows that there can only be 3 possible answers?

I saw it. But still I have doubts

Hi;

How about the part that says two of the sides must be equal to what is given?

**In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.**

I accept it for myself.

But, how do I put it into a written proof?

Hi Agnishom;

So you would like to have a way to express the fact that you must use 2 of the 3 sides given?

Hmm...

That is what I am trying to tell

Hi;

It looks intuitively obvious but those are always the hardest to prove. I do not have anything firm either.

You are correct!

Maybe someone else will show the right way to go from that video. If I get something I will post it for you.

Hi Agnishom;

Not yet. I do not even have it in my literature.

Hi;

A pretty good math library, about as good or better than a university library. Could not find it yet on the web either.
