Re: favorite fruitHmmm... Cabbage. No, wait that's a vegetable... Watermelon, though I'm not sure if it's a ftuit or a vegetable... Re: favorite fruitGrapes or the pseudo fruit strawberries. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on. #8 2012-12-16 13:19:23
Re: favorite fruitWhy are strawberries a pseudo-fruit? The limit operator is just an excuse for doing something you know you can't. “It's the subject that nobody knows anything about that we can all talk about!” ― Richard Feynman “A secret's worth depends on the people from whom it must be kept.” ― Carlos Ruiz Zafón #9 2012-12-16 13:29:09
Re: favorite fruitBeats me, that is what this website said. I eat them whether they are fruit or not. As Fermi said,"If I wanted to know the names of all these new particles I would have become a biologist." In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics.
