Re: CodingHi Agnishom; In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on. #102 2012-11-13 12:43:50
Re: CodingI think and I hope that it does not include relativity 'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.' 'God exists because Mathematics is consistent, and the devil exists because we cannot prove it' 'The whole person changes, why can't a habit?' -65 #103 2012-11-13 13:40:15

Re: CodingWhat does "purple" signify? 'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.' Re: CodingI think he is saying a beggar clothed in fine clothes that fools mistake for a king. In mathematics, you don't understand things. Re: CodingDoes he under-estimate the theory? 'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.' Re: CodingThey are both dead so his exact meaning is gone forever. But let me add that every school kid knows about Einsteins theory of relativity. Much of Tesla's work on the other hand is top secret in this country. Even 100 years after he did it! In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on. #108 2012-11-13 16:12:43
Re: Coding"Top Secret" 'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.' Re: Coding
The colour purple is often associated to royalty and the luxury they live in. The limit operator is just an excuse for doing something you know you can't. “It's the subject that nobody knows anything about that we can all talk about!” ― Richard Feynman “A secret's worth depends on the people from whom it must be kept.” ― Carlos Ruiz Zafón #110 2012-11-13 20:03:02
Re: Coding
The military only thinks in terms of weapons. But the ideas can be used for many things, health, propulsion, power supply...
They will only touch upon a minuscule portion of his intellect and still he will rate way ahead of his time. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. Re: Coding
That's nice but unfortunately I don't known enough about Tesla
But then why "Top Secret"? 'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.' 'God exists because Mathematics is consistent, and the devil exists because we cannot prove it' 'The whole person changes, why can't a habit?' -65 #112 2012-11-14 14:41:51
Re: Coding
Greed and power makes more decisions than clever reasoning. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on. #113 2013-01-23 01:33:25#114 2013-02-14 13:33:26

Re: CodingLeo, if you want to learn a powerful yet extremely easy language, you should try Just Basic. And for web development, Run Basic. Just Basic is written in Small Talk and is completely free. Afterwards, you can try Liberty Basic for a minimal price. Re: CodingTrue, but I can say that with any language. Once you have the basics of programming under your belt, it's all just about syntax. Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world. -Archimedes My maturity level depends on the people I am around. |
