PollsWhile on here, I didn't see any sign of any polls. So I was going to ask...would it be such a bad idea to have them? I know they have proven useful to me on another forum I have been on, nice way to vote for things. If they do exist on this forum, would someone please explain? Life isn’t a simple Math: there are always other variables. -[unknown] But Nature flies from the infinite, for the infinite is unending or imperfect, and Nature ever seeks an end. -Aristotle #2 2012-11-05 18:47:19
Re: PollsHi; In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on. #3 2012-11-06 18:02:58
Re: PollsHmm, so it isn't a good suggestion, because there's no way of doing it...easily in the first place? Re: PollsOkay, too bad... Life isn’t a simple Math: there are always other variables. -[unknown] But Nature flies from the infinite, for the infinite is unending or imperfect, and Nature ever seeks an end. -Aristotle |
