Rudeness

If a moderator were to delete a new member, wouldn't it be polite to as at least give that new member a reason why and even perhaps a warning at first? [comment deleted]

I think it extremely bad behavior to treat someone rudely when that someone has been very courteous.

Not that I'm blaming anyone in particular but I think an apology is in order here if the deletion of my new account was in fact intentional.

Re: Rudeness

Hi rvdude1;

Where are you deleted? I see your question under this one so I am wondering what you are talking about. There were no moderators in here for the last half hour.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.

Re: Rudeness

Are you sure that account is deleted and you haven't forgotten your password or something (they give you a password through email at first, then you have to change it yourself).  Because checking user list, it says you are still there...

Re: Rudeness

hi Calligar

This case was more complicated than that.  It needed the administrator to sort it out.  We still don't understand why it happened.  dizzy

Re: Rudeness

What happened, then?

Re: Rudeness

He registered, got a password, logged in and found he'd been deleted.  Twice.  ???

MIF created him again and all is well.

We don't know why he got deleted.  No mods were logged in at the time, so it wasn't an accident.

Anyhow, I suggest this thread is redundant.

I don't think rvdude1 can delete this thread as he only had guest status for the start, but I'll do it if this is requested.

Re: Rudeness

He couldn't delete it even if he was a member. Members cannot delete their ppst if it is the first one in the thread...
