I am new to this forum. As a kid I had maths phobia but with practice and time my phobia came to end. All I did was practice.

Maths is a subject that needs practice but if you take it as a burden, you will never come out of the fear of numbers. Just make sure that you practice maths daily but too much of practice will also not be a good thing

I could not agree more or less. I have been seriously thinking of only putting in .999999... times as much effort as I did in the past. This should allow me some time to relax.

Hello,

As far as I know and what my experience say is that you should keep practicing mathematics to make the subject simpler. With practice you will learn some techniques and even your speed of calculation will improve. Practice means continuous practice, you cannot solve one problem then go for a walk and then come back after an hour that will be a really time taking and tough process. Make a time table and try to solve as many problems a s possible in that time.I assure you you will definitely start solving sums at a much higher speed.

Well, I haven't been on for about a week, but would like to say...

As for the practice part of it, I'd agree for the most part but not completely.

As for what I like, I love working on logic (strictly), math, science, computers, philosophy, and video games. Unfortunately I do not work on them all the time, every day, but by far, those are the things I do the most work on (or arguably play if it comes to video games...). What I work on the most is probably logic, and the least is probably science, but again, by far, I spend the most time on all of these things. To clear things up, I'm kind of saying work in replace of what I like, because what I like almost always requires a lot of work, and it's easier to explain that way.

In my opinion,math is a magic,i like math but i don't like do math exercises because it's hard for me,so i 'd better do some math games for kids more than some math practice exercises.

Hmm, well I can almost assure you math isn't magic, but it is great none the less. As for math challenges, I honestly don't do them much myself because I'm busy studying...newer material, so I continue to learn and understand. Though, once I get far enough, I'll probably start doing more exercises. Though don't get me wrong, exercises can definitely help. They can be good for challenging yourself which can help your understanding of stuff, finding new and better ways of doing things, speed, etc. Of course, if there is something you don't know, that what things like this website is here for.
