Re: IntroductionHi cool_jessica;
I started doing one hour of math every hour. Then 30 minutes every 30 minutes, then 15 minutes every 15 minutes, then... In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #5 2012-08-11 02:19:15

Re: IntroductionI could not agree more or less. I have been seriously thinking of only putting in .999999... times as much effort as I did in the past. This should allow me some time to relax. Re: IntroductionIn my opinion,math is a magic,i like math but i don't like do math exercises because it's hard for me,so i 'd better do some math games for kids more than some math practice exercises. Last edited by jennylee1203 (2012-10-22 19:27:57) #17 2012-10-23 15:05:39
Re: IntroductionHmm, well I can almost assure you math isn't magic, but it is great none the less. As for math challenges, I honestly don't do them much myself because I'm busy studying...newer material, so I continue to learn and understand. Though, once I get far enough, I'll probably start doing more exercises. Though don't get me wrong, exercises can definitely help. They can be good for challenging yourself which can help your understanding of stuff, finding new and better ways of doing things, speed, etc. Of course, if there is something you don't know, that what things like this website is here for.
