Im too old to remember. Solving fractional equation

Ok.. Ive been out of college for awhile now and math was never my strongest suit so if someone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

(R-C) / C = P

I normally have R and C to get P, but now I would like to input P and C to get R.

Thanks

Re: Im too old to remember. Solving fractional equation

(R-C) / C = P

R - C = PC
R = PC + C
R = C(P+1)

Character is who you are when no one is looking.

Just remember one simple thing: exchange symbols when places are exchanged.

So times(x) becomes divide(/), divide(/) becomes times(x), and plus(+) becomes minus(-), minus(-) becomes plus(+).
