### Re: A Multiplying and Dividing Polynomials Problem

That is very good and now for one more thing.

Anything over one is itself.  3 / 1 = 3, x^2 / 1 = x^2 so simplify this one,

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.
All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof.

Cross out things that are the same in the top and bottom.

### Re: A Multiplying and Dividing Polynomials Problem

That is correct now clean that up a little by just getting rid of those one's.

Just remember the rule 7 * 1 = 7, 11*1 = 11, anything * 1 = anything.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.

Why not? You will be taking math there won't you? Everyone needs help now and then.
