Remainder Theorem
If r and s be the remainders when the polynomial
and are divided by (x+1) and (x-2) respectively and 2r + s = 6Then find the value of a
P.S: Sorry it should have been x + 1
Is the answer 2 or something else?

I make it a = -4/10 and I've checked it back in the cubics.
