The number before the decimal is not 0. .99999999... is just another way of writing 1.

The Base Number Can Only be 0  for Infinite/Recurring 0.999... Because if the Base Number was 1 ? it would No longer be Continuous!!

The Numbers After the . are What are Running Infinitely!

1-0.999...  = (0.9... = 0.1...) Further on...(0.99... = 0.01...) Further on...(0.999...= 0.001...) Conclusion there will Always be a Difference!!

Notation may Imply it! But that Contradicts that Notation Implies No End to the Universe!

Pi Never Get's there & Neither does Infinite/Recurring 0.9
