Re: Graph of electricity

hi model,

It's not a great graph, is it.  A scale but no units and the axes aren't labelled either.

I think this is showing the amount of electricity used (by a large group of consumers) over a 24 hour period.

So for example, in winter, there's a big rise in demand at about 2200.  Lots of people turning on their electric blankets and making a mug of Horlicks perhaps.  Why there's a smaller peak at 0200 I cannot imagine.  Perhaps this is only illustrative rather than a real situation.

Re: Graph of electricity

Hi Bob

Did you see the label saying "Typical daily demand for electricity"?

Re: Graph of electricity

hi Stefy

In England we have 24 hours in each day.  What about you?

Re: Graph of electricity

Us too. What does that have to do with anything?

Re: Graph of electricity

I was responding to your post 3.

I guess I've misunderstood you again.

I'm afraid English is only my first language so I have trouble understanding it.

"I think this is showing the amount of electricity used (by a large group of consumers) over a 24 hour period."

I just thought that you weren't sure of what the graph represents.
