The biggest number?I got the idea from a competition made,I don't know where and when, and had the purpose of finding the biggest number you can find. Last edited by anonimnystefy (2012-05-04 05:24:13) The limit operator is just an excuse for doing something you know you can't. “It's the subject that nobody knows anything about that we can all talk about!” ― Richard Feynman “A secret's worth depends on the people from whom it must be kept.” ― Carlos Ruiz Zafón #2 2012-05-04 03:11:13

Re: The biggest number?2 > 1.(9) by an infintesimal amount so close to zero, you can't see it, it has no notatable value we currently no of I guess. Imagine for a moment that even an earthworm may possess a love of self and a love of others. #4 2012-05-10 14:54:10

Re: The biggest number?Sorry, I don't do formal proofs until I turn 65 and so thats a couple decades off when I'm smarter. Imagine for a moment that even an earthworm may possess a love of self and a love of others. #6 2012-05-12 17:02:00
Re: The biggest number? Then I cannot accept 2 as it is the same as 1.(9). The limit operator is just an excuse for doing something you know you can't. “It's the subject that nobody knows anything about that we can all talk about!” ― Richard Feynman “A secret's worth depends on the people from whom it must be kept.” ― Carlos Ruiz Zafón #7 2012-05-12 17:11:03
Re: The biggest number?Ok. In that case I'll have where n is the value of the number in post #200 of this thread. Bob You cannot teach a man anything; you can only help him find it within himself..........Galileo Galilei #8 2012-05-12 17:39:09

Re: The biggest number? No,that is not it.I am using your number ( 25 ) and am adding a factorial sign to it. The limit operator is just an excuse for doing something you know you can't. “It's the subject that nobody knows anything about that we can all talk about!” ― Richard Feynman “A secret's worth depends on the people from whom it must be kept.” ― Carlos Ruiz Zafón #17 2012-05-13 18:04:34
Re: The biggest number?Oh I see. So your number is 25!
Are you expecting me to prove my number meets this requirement, because I might change my mind about it. You cannot teach a man anything; you can only help him find it within himself..........Galileo Galilei #18 2012-05-13 18:07:45

Re: The biggest number? The otherwise is a 'catchall' that I think is unnecessary since n is an integer and pi is irrational. Bob You cannot teach a man anything; you can only help him find it within himself..........Galileo Galilei #22 2012-05-13 22:05:37
