### Re: Generating Functions

Assuming you mean "What did you do to solve it?",I did nothing.I will try something though.I have Maxima now.

The limit operator is just an excuse for doing something you know you can't.

### Re: Generating Functions

Let me know when you get an answer.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics.
I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on.

### Re: Generating Functions

What do you get for 2 dice?

And what for 5 of them?

Unfortunately,my code runs n*sqrt(n) complexity, and in Maxima it would seem that thar is a lot. The poor system cannot handle such complexities.

### Re: Generating Functions

So the lab needs this to launch that rocket. Are you going to say, in some axiomatic systems it is .5 and in some other axiomatic systems it is 0.8688109167166945582799121192248256736356853859332611538240134956811165240517393603026999224948087276?

Or are you going to say I can not do it because my computer is too slow?
