Re: DOB in pi puzzle

I downloaded win.zip version 0.942 some time back, and the link was probably like your first one, but with the old numbers.

I updated a few days ago to the current version (0.953).

Re: DOB in pi puzzle

You should also click on the "Documentation (WIKI)" link on the QB64 page and download the "Offline Reference" Wiki docs.

On that same download page there's a link to the QB64 forum and apparently further downloads...but I haven't checked that out yet.

Okay, thanks. Looks like they have beefed it up considerably.

Re: DOB in pi puzzle

I like the fact that QB64 has thriving, current forum support and frequent updates.

Re: DOB in pi puzzle

I had no idea it was still active and developing. The last I used was QB 7.1, that was made a long, long, time ago. I thought the language was dead.

It came out about 1991, I think. See you later and sleep well.

For what is that a reminder?

Re: DOB in pi puzzle

You mean phrontister? If I remember there were two parts of the problem. The first one I did okay. The second part I wanted a neat mathematical method for. I never found one...

No,he wanted to do something when he has more tine, but said he would probably forget by then. I just reminded him,so he can do what he wanted if he still does and if he has time.

Re: DOB in pi puzzle

He wanted to know how to do it in M. I remember offering to teach him how. We just never got around to it.

I am not sure how much time it would take to go

Excel -> LB -> QB -> M

I know, I am just talking about it. Learning M is a little scary.

It is 15 days. Too little if you ask me!
