Re: Can you work in group or who'll be the survivor?

We don't have people being II, VI, VII, VIII or IX.

Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

Re: Can you work in group or who'll be the survivor?

It's a bit silly, because we've already read the hat colours when deciding what other people should say, but there's no way to get around it. I'll do VI.

VI: black

And MathsIsFun already claimed V, so let's wait for him.

Re: Can you work in group or who'll be the survivor?

Amazing logic!

If I get it right, "X" said white, so there are an even number of white hats ahead of him, correct?

And so far I know that the hats revealed are (W for "X", but doesn't count because he couldn't see it), B, B, W, B, giving an odd number of Ws between "X" and me.

Now, I can see an odd number of Ws ahead of me, and that makes an even number of white hats (excluding mine).  So I can't be "W" or that would make an odd number, so I must be "B".

(Yes, I have revealed extra info, but maybe someone needs help following the logic?)

"V": Black

Well, I never would have got it if jjjj hadn't sparked it with her comment about the 5 hats. Speaking of which, where is she? We're waiting for her.
