What next???

Hi guys

There are a lot of you here that are experts at math and what I wanted to know is what would you recommend to me to do next based on what you know I know.

That could really help ao that I don't just skip from topic to topic.

Hi anonimnystefy;

What?

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.

Re: What next???

You already know the type of mathematics that gAr and I do. I have gone and on and on about it. To follow it you need to get much stronger in computational mathematics. For your theoretical mathematics I recommend getting stronger in Calculus and Linear Algebra.

Re: What next???

Thought so,but what do I do next for calculus?

Btw,could you give me a calculus problem to work on by myself (but slightly harder)? I want to see how I can cope with finding and learning by myself.

I will come up with a problem but I do not agree with the trying to see how well you cope idea.

Yes, try to get a solution. Do not hesitate to try any method. You may or may not get it but the work is what is important.

That is too bad. There is a funny scene in the movie that is so typical of many strong math types.
