Calculus in the suspension bridge

I ask because I'm curently enrolled in a math program where I have to present a project in a math fair. It has to be on something that's one or two years ahead of what I'm learning now. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing and I was having difficulty finding information. LOL

But it is odd ... years ahead of you ?
The only trouble is, you can get confused by stuff you haven't learned, and that is a recipe for disliking the subject (in my humble opinion)
Advice to everyone: don't skip too far ahead, it only makes you upset with the subject. Pick some things you can do, and get better at them. Natural progress is best.

That's an interesting point, MathIsFun, I never gave that too much thought.
I suppose being aware that jumping ahead may cause some disappointment is
a good thing to be aware of. Maybe you should eat homemade chocolate chip
cookies and milk to alleviate the confusion that the new material has brought on!
