Re: Hello to allHi, ye of lustrous hair. How are you? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on. #152 2012-03-18 05:58:13
Re: Hello to all
I'm hanging in there. College has become like doing time, I would imagine. It does not mean you are smart, it just means you have endurance. Another two semesters after this summer seems like a long time to do. Last edited by survival (2012-03-18 05:59:02) #153 2012-03-18 11:52:42

Re: Hello to allI do know that there are two states I would never set foot in. Florida and California. Florida is sinking and Calif. has unpredictible faults. I'll stay in the South where it's cheaper to live. If you move to Florida, that is your perogative, but it's more expensive. #166 2012-03-25 05:12:42

Re: Hello to allHi suvival;
Living out here in Nevada has taught me to mistrust any reports geological or otherwise that universities, corporations, the scientific community or the gov were behind. This here is alien country and I do not ever discuss the whys of certain topics on any forum. In mathematics, you don't understand things. Re: Hello to allOh ok, whatever works for you. That's a big move though. I will never set foot in Florida. Never been to Disney even and don't intend on it. #170 2012-03-27 09:33:12

Re: Hello to allWell, when I go home, I go out of the way just for the scenery. I bet they have high taxes, because their roads are perfection and always look freshly paved. Beautiful steel skyscrapers that look like giant silver robots. Amazing. #172 2012-03-27 09:56:29

Re: Hello to allWell, they just grow taller. They look like silver/chrome giant robots. (Atlanta) I have never been to other big places with skyscrapers except Memphis and it's a dirty place. |
