Why do you say that? Why 77 years ago I was younger than you are.

Yes, we have that here. Started by Ben Franklin. Do you have something similar there?

The sun rises earlier and sets later. I guess they are trying to adjust the hours of the work day to be in tune with the sun. More light means less used electricity.

It does make for some confusion because the date on my computer needs to be set manually.

Re: Shrinking brains means we are smarter?

Interestingly, computer memory and cpu power is increasing and human brains are supposedly getting smaller.

Hi bobbym

It is true that our brains are getting smaller.

Re: Shrinking brains means we are smarter?

Well, that is what they are saying. But here is one spot where being older pays off. I can remember them saying just the opposite. Who knows what they will say in 10 or 20 years.

Re: Shrinking brains means we are smarter?

Hi bobbym

Being older almost always pays off.

I remember that from "topic name"we learned that the brain size gets smaller.

Re: Shrinking brains means we are smarter?

My point is, no science has the certainty of mathematics. In mathematics many things stay the same for thousands of years. Other so called disciplines are nothing but conclusions based upon a small amount of empirical evidence.
