hello everyoneVery cool and active forum! My name is Joseph and I am here to improve my math skills for my upcoming TABE exam. I have been studying on a few other sites, but I definitely want to participate on this forum. Anyone here have experience with the TABE? I have just been perfecting long division, since I never entirely understood it in school. I'm trying to learn geometry, fractions and algebra, but it has been a rough road. I keep forgetting things after a while. It can be quite frustrating. #2 2012-03-07 09:57:00
Re: hello everyoneHi;
That is what math is, frustration. Without that it would never be fun or rewarding. Do not worry about forgetting things, that too, happens to everyone. Try here first: In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. |
