### Re: Fermi's questions!!!

Hi;

Shrinking myself and my ruler using Benes' miniaturization formulas ( see Fantastic Voyage ) I was able to measure very roughy the size of a proton. I got 10^(-12) mm in diameter. More difficult was measuring the diameter of a hydrogen atom. That darn electron kept hopping and shrinking and reappearing all over the place. Was actually kind of electron cloudy, I thought it was going to rain. Anyway, the diameter of the hydrogen atom is 5 x 10^(-8) mm.

Forming a simple proportion:

Solving for d =3.7 kilometers in diameter which means it is about as wide as Manhattan.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics.
I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on.

hi bobbym

nice work very good!you're getting the hang of this!

The limit operator is just an excuse for doing something you know you can't.

Yes, strange about those titles. You can call feminine royalty, "your highness" but you can not say to masculine royalty, "your high."

well,i think you say highness to both males and females because i think the -ness in this context isn't for femaleness.

Hmmmm. Yes, but if I am wrong I will be either beheaded or imprisoned in a dungeon for 175 years. I will bet if Rico was facing the same threat he would not be so quick or so sure of his answer.
