Polyhedra Solids and NetsI have been upgrading my "spinning solids" app to include nets, plus added lots more solids here: Polyhedron Models "The physicists defer only to mathematicians, and the mathematicians defer only to God ..." - Leon M. Lederman #2 2012-01-08 09:17:54
Re: Polyhedra Solids and NetsHi MathsIsFun; In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #3 2012-01-08 09:54:32
Re: Polyhedra Solids and NetsSome I had already (platonics, pyramids, etc), others from http://netlib.sandia.gov/polyhedra/ (though there were errors and missing data in those). I just kept searching the net, or making my own corrections. I probably spent a solid week just on the data. Re: Polyhedra Solids and NetsYou could try printing on paper, then hold the paper on the cardboard and use a pin to mark all vertices. "The physicists defer only to mathematicians, and the mathematicians defer only to God ..." - Leon M. Lederman #6 2012-01-09 12:02:52

Re: Polyhedra Solids and Netshi MIF The limit operator is just an excuse for doing something you know you can't. “It's the subject that nobody knows anything about that we can all talk about!” ― Richard Feynman “A secret's worth depends on the people from whom it must be kept.” ― Carlos Ruiz Zafón #8 2012-01-10 01:04:10
