Re: Whats my line?Not giving up, but I need to think about all of this. You cannot teach a man anything; you can only help him find it within himself..........Galileo Galilei #102 2012-01-06 07:38:51
Re: Whats my line?Hi Bob;
I am not sure how he makes money out of it or whether that is his primary motive. He is hired at times and some of the smaller guys are doing it for money! This can not totally be the case with him. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #103 2012-01-06 16:02:17

Re: Whats my line?
not sure what you mean by that answer. The limit operator is just an excuse for doing something you know you can't. “It's the subject that nobody knows anything about that we can all talk about!” ― Richard Feynman “A secret's worth depends on the people from whom it must be kept.” ― Carlos Ruiz Zafón #110 2012-01-07 02:40:55
Re: Whats my line?Hi anonimnystefy
That was the question.
Some machines are controlled, most are not. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I do not know the answer to that one. Or whether his trial has even started. He probably has found himself a high priced attorney who will undoubtedly get him off.
