Can anyone help me with this question at all???
Consider two measurement situations. In the first the
sample mean X ~ N(µ, 10) and in the second the sample
mean X ~ N(µ, 2.5). If the variance of a component
Xi is 100, how many observations have been taken in the
two situations? In each case calculate the probability that
X is within 1 of µ.
