bobbym wrote:I have to be sure here! 5 points between A and B all equally spaced?
yes yes but , Is that depend on me for equally spaced decision , will that effect to more accuracy or good result . like more equally space . more good result .
so . the equally space decision depend on me ?

That is okay. I am working on it.
As an example the (x,y) coordinates of A are (4.32, .72) the (x,y) coordinates of B are (4.84, 1.72) ( post #27 ).
To find the first of the five points:
Now do this:
So the first point is called p1
( 4.40667 , 0.88666 )
Now to get the second of the five do this:
So the second point is called p2
( 4.493333 , 1.0533333 )
Continue like this for all 5 points. See the drawing.

Hi model;
The solution in the above post is what you asked for but the great Hastings ( I never got to meet him but I certainly know of him ) would be able to fit a curve to all those points. He would not use splines as I have done but an almost minimax fit by hand!

I use geogebra. It does it all and it is fun!

It is really excellent for geometric work. Try it, if you get stuck I know how to use it a bit.

Hi model;
Thanks for the offer, I appreciate that but calling me a mathematician is a little mean. They are kind of stiff while I am happy go lucky.
I do not have a presence on facebook and I prefer not to. I like it in here where no one even notices me. Which is a good thing when you make as many mistakes as I do.
You are welcome here and someone will work on your future problems if not me.
