Re: Bonjour!Yes, welcome darthradius. I also love terrible jokes. Why did the vector cross the road? It wanted to be normal. #6 2005-11-30 06:17:51

Re: Bonjour!Ah ha! and admin/mod? The greatest challenge to any thinker is stating the problem in a way that will allow a solution. -Bertrand Russell #16 2005-12-02 05:00:32
Re: Bonjour!MathsIsFun is the only admin the forum will ever have (unless he leaves it to someone in his will or something) because he founded it. Mods are people who the admin trusts enough to give powers to that will help him keep the forum a nice, fun place. Why did the vector cross the road? It wanted to be normal. #17 2005-12-02 08:08:07

Re: Bonjour!Wanna be math wiz: Like mathsy already said, I'm from Australia. Yesterday was the first day of... summer! It was really hot. Except today it's raining. #19 2005-12-02 21:08:43
Re: Bonjour!Ohmigosh...I don't even want to hear this...It is currently 18°F here...but it feels like 6.... The greatest challenge to any thinker is stating the problem in a way that will allow a solution. -Bertrand Russell #20 2005-12-02 22:07:59
Re: Bonjour! Is it snowing there? I like snow. I've seen it real snow only twice, in two separate years, in Christchurch, New Zealand. #21 2005-12-02 22:22:39
Re: Bonjour!Maybe we can create a pipeline through this forum - channel cold air to those suffering in the heat, and pull the warm air from Australia and India to the cold-afflicted. Re: Bonjour!its winter in chennai....its raining cats and dogs...yesterday we had 25 cm of rain...and temp is between 20 and 25 degrees Centigrade....very very cold...... Character is who you are when no one is looking. #24 2005-12-03 21:00:02
Re: Bonjour!Hang on. Between 20 and 25 degrees Centigrade is very cold? Buh? Why did the vector cross the road? It wanted to be normal. #25 2005-12-03 21:06:09
Re: Bonjour!Mathsy, if you didn't know this earlier, Chennai is between the Equator and the Tropic of Cancer, and the people here are far more comfortable with Summer than winter! Many have respiratory syndromes and the winter is not too conducive. Again, if you didn't know that before, Chennai is one of the hottest cities in the world! A bonus is the fact that it is one of the cheapest metropoloitans with population of 5 million plus in the world! Character is who you are when no one is looking. |
