Coded StatisticI am trying to solve a geocaching puzzle which is called code statistics. I have no idea what this means and can't google the term, therefore cannot begin the puzzle. This is what is given : Last edited by Fairynuff (2011-08-14 17:54:57) #2 2011-08-07 19:18:15
Re: Coded StatisticHi Fairynuff; In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on. #3 2011-08-07 20:17:58
Re: Coded StatisticNo, it's not a contest, there is no prize, you just go to the coordinates and sign a log. Advice, hint was what I asked for as to the type of statistic, not please solve it for me. It's quite common for geocachers to seek help from others when getting started but usually they are word or cipher puzzles so wouldn't have been asked on a maths forum. #4 2011-08-07 20:47:44

Re: Coded StatisticHi, "Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense" - Buddha? "Data! Data! Data!" he cried impatiently. "I can't make bricks without clay." #8 2011-08-08 05:09:16
