Shared Birthdays

OK, here is my take on Shared Birthdays

Please let me know what you think, and if it can be improved (or corrected!)

Re: Shared Birthdays

Hi MathsIsFun,

Looks good and neat to me.
And I also liked the footnote.

"Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense"  - Buddha?

"Data! Data! Data!" he cried impatiently. "I can't make bricks without clay."

Re: Shared Birthdays

Hi MathsIsFun,

The page on probability and chances is well made.
The inferences drawn are interesting. The page is error free, I think.
Commendable work!

Re: Shared Birthdays

Hi MIF;

Looks good!

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.
All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof.

Re: Shared Birthdays

hi MathsIsFun,

Thanks, that's excellent.  smile I particularly like the start with an easier example so  the explanation is easier to follow for a student new to probability.
