Thanks for the page, it made it a little clearer to me.


In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics.
I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on.

i come by spuriously, approximately every three weeks because i am so busy memorizing
atomic weights (2010 IUPAC) and I bike ride each day for 1.5 to 3 hours, as well as other
chores such as cleaning out a stone wall and getting poison ivy!!  Ouch.
