Parse problem

About 10 minutes ago I when I visited the forum, I received a message saying something like 'Parse - ... Problem with $ in home/mathsis/public_html/forum/include/functions.php ...'

The dots mean I can't remember that bit. Just wondering if there is a problem or if anyone else received it?

Re: Parse problem

Well, I haven't got that message yet, but I tried changing my avatar yesterday and it wouldn't let me. Maybe it was just hallowe'en spookiness.

Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

Re: Parse problem

jl: The "parse" problem was me doing a minor security upgrade of the forum - all done now.

mp: What sort of problem did you get when trying to change your avatar?

Re: Parse problem

I tried changing it again to make sure the problem was still there and I got this:

It was only for hallowe'en (and I still hate that apostrophe), so it's not urgent or anything, but I thought I should mention it because other people might still want to change/add theirs.

Re: Parse problem

Oh, someone's trying to edit posts like me! Ha!

Re: Parse problem

Rod didn't use silent edit though. So, if he was trying to edit like you, he failed. If he wasn't, he succeeded. I sometimes use the [change] thing as well. It depends what I feel like.

I tracked it down - you should be able to change your avatar now.
