Hello everyone,

Hi, my name's Marisca. I'm an Australian student currently in my second final year of high school.
I'm studying Biology (my finals for biology are this year as I started the subject early), Physics, Chemistry, Chinese, English and of course Math Methods.

I used this forum with a few math questions recently and found it so helpful.
Good job with creating this site, I'll definitely post more questions in the future :)

Yes, he is, he just does not know it.

Yes, I am the guy that hangs here the most. I add to the ambience, like a bar stool, or that picture of the dogs playing poker.

Out, out, brief candle.
Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.

Since I only knew Roy West from tournaments, I assumed he was a cantankerous, old jerk. When I read this:

RoyWest wrote:

Put your hand in a big bucket full of water. Now stir it up real good. Pull your hand out and watch the water return to normal. Calm, smooth and placid, no sign that your hand was ever in there. That is what your life is like.

Soon after, Roy passed on, I guess a person is only allowed one revelation per lifetime, sort of like Moses viewing the promised land.

Point is, the forum was here before me and will be here after me...

OMG, dudette, I totally did the same courses as you in Yr 11! Except at my school we did Japanese! That's crazy!
