Math workouts

I have made some "Math Workouts" to practise number, algebra and functional maths.

They are self marking and each sheet is randomly generated to get you in shape for your exams.

Number Workout
Algebra Workout
Functional Workout

I use them constantly with my pupils as starters for lessons so I thought I'd share.

Re: Math workouts

Hi studymaths;

Good work. There was one answer in the number tests where the question is 2 / 10 = ?. I got marked wrong for .2 or 1 / 5.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.

Re: Math workouts

Ah yes, the question asks you to find just the '?' which is either numerator or the denominator depending on how the sheet generates.  If you just put what the '?' value should be it should mark it correct.

I made it like this precisely to avoid having to code multiple correct answers like 1/5 = 0.2 = 20% etc!

Though it appears to have caused confusion!
