cubic meters or square meters

i have a question:


If i would like to sale a cube (of ice, concret, steel, something....)  ... how should i express it's size: in cubic metrics or square meters?? i mean volume or area??

By volume.

For example, cubic meters (m³), or cubic feet (m³) or even liters.
