Two quick things...
I use another forum too, and there's a few things I want to ask about THIS forum.
1)If programmer possible, I think a nice touch would be adding a Chatbox. It would have ChatMODS, (Chat Moderators). It could be used for getting quick answers, and having discussions. To keep posts flowing, maybe limit the chatbox to certain days, like monday, wednesday, Friday, Sunday...or something...Just an idea 
2) PMs, could you have a PM (Personal Messaging system) To contact people in private, or something?
PMs are the better idea...the Chatbox was just a thought...

I asked that question myself a while back. The answer was since we have young adults here, we cannot moderate the chat as easily as the posts. Not everyone who comes to a forum is as mature as you. Some adults are 3 year olds in disguise, just bigger. If they got out of line on the chat, the youngsters would be subject to it. This could threaten the forums existence.
MIF ( the boss ) designates the people who are responsible enough to be what we call a "real member."
Real members have the right to pm people.
In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means.
90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics.
