Math game using playing cards?A few weeks ago, I was searching the web for ways to help my daughter learn multipication. I came across a game that she could play using standard playing cards. It envolved laying out a row of cards, doing some multipication - maybe multiplying a card from a draw pile by card in the line....but somehow, I didn't bookmark the page and now I can't find it. If you know of any such game where multipication is practiced with standard playing cards, please tell me about it. #2 2011-01-02 00:08:54
Re: Math game using playing cards?Hi Jc;
Uh Oh! That's a killer. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. |
