Can you check these, please?

Can you check to see if these two games load properly for you?

Hi MathsIsFun;

Running fine here.

Re: Can you check these, please?

Hi MathsIsFun

Money Master loads and runs. I only tried one option.  It looks like it's got loads of potential.  Thanks.

Got hexxagon loaded but couldn't do anything with it.  I'm using IE7.  I could toggle between the games options so I chose 'against the computer'.  Board appeared but I couldn't move a piece.  Did I miss the instructions?

Hi MathsIsFun,

Both games load & play fine. Using IE8...and also Firefox 3.6.3.

Hi phrontister;

You should switch over to the 4.0b7 it is much better than the 3 series in both speed and stability.

Hi MIF;

The coin game is really interesting.

Re: Can you check these, please?

hi again,

Actually it's IE8 and I've got flash player.  Slightly more happens now.  I click a red piece and it is touched by 3 green bordered hexagons and those by 5 more in yellow.  Then nothing.  ??

If I click another red that gets the greens and yellows instead.  ??

What am I supposed to be doing?

Re: Can you check these, please?

Hi Bobby,

Thanks...I've installed FF4.0b7 and it works very well. However, I'll probably only use it occasionally (for now, anyway) as I've got too used to IE8...with which I'm quite happy. FireFox won't do everything that IE8 does unless I set FF as my default browser, which I don't really want to do.

The improved IE9 (Beta) is now available for Vista and W7, which unfortunately counts me out as my OS is XP. Not all of my programs will run on W7, and as my XP ain't broke I'm not in a hurry to upgrade. If FF continues to improve and maintains support for XP I can see myself switching over to it.

Hi Bob,

I copied this brief explanation of how to play Hexxagon from another site:

Two players attempt to control the majority of spaces on a customizable board by spreading, jumping and infecting. Spreading involves adding a new piece adjacent to an existing one. Jumping means moving a piece two spaces away. Whenever a piece is placed adjacent to opposing pieces these are infected, meaning replaced with friendly ones.

I just had my first game, and tied with my computer opponent. Haven't worked out a good strategy yet.

Re: Can you check these, please?

Hi Bob;

It does appear that Hexadoodle is not my game either.

Hi phrontister;

From the point of security, FF ( especially with the noscript plugin ) is far superior. Also you know how I feel about  the boys in Redmond.

Got my first look at 7, I am not impressed. Saw a machine ripped apart by a new type of trojan attack. 7's defenses were pathetic, as a matter of fact it prevented the user from defending herself correctly. I also am sticking with XP.
