Re: Trigonometry Practice Solving Triangles

Hi MathsisFun;

Interesting idea, played with it and think it is useful. Found this problem:

Sometimes the numbers overlap the sides. Not severe here but a little confusing. I have the same problem when I draw one of these by hand, where to place the labels.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.

Hi MathsIsFun,

The pages are interesting and informative. The pages are well designed.

Re: Trigonometry Practice Solving Triangles

Hi MathsIsFun

I think these are great for students needing to practise.  I'm guessing they're randomly generated so placing the labels is bound to be tricky.

Am I being thick?  I didn't see a link to the answers.

Re: Trigonometry Practice Solving Triangles

I didn't explain at all. Click on (say) Law of Sines button, then click on a highlighted variable.

(It is a little too "minimalist" at the moment!)

Hi MathsisFun;

What do you have in mind for it?

Student practice? Do you have any good ideas for it?

Hi MathsIsFun;

You can add the law of tangents.
