Examine this series and say what you think it means to you.To make the series you start at zero. Then you add one, and one, and two and two, and three, and 3, and 4, and 4, and 5 and 5 and 6 and 6 and 7 and 7, and continue with two of each increasing natural number. Imagine for a moment that even an earthworm may possess a love of self and a love of others. #2 2010-08-11 05:23:11

Re: Examine this series and say what you think it means to you.Hi John;
Next one is 729 and the after that is 756, isn't that interesting enough! with a1 = 0 , a2 = 1, ... Except for 2 there is not a single prime! In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on. #6 2010-08-11 09:39:10
Re: Examine this series and say what you think it means to you.This sequence can also be written as: Why did the vector cross the road? It wanted to be normal. #7 2010-08-11 09:46:19
Re: Examine this series and say what you think it means to you.Yes, you guys are smarter than me. Imagine for a moment that even an earthworm may possess a love of self and a love of others. #8 2010-08-11 10:10:09

For instance: In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on. |
