Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfRunning out of ideas. One guy proposed as apposed to the storm using wavepower to direct water into the air and cooling it down. Seem like a good idea. I see clearly now, the universe have the black dots, Thus I am on my way of inventing this remedy... #52 2010-06-29 02:49:52
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfSo am I. Directing water into the air and then cooling it is apt to result in rain or snow. I don't think that will help plug the leak. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #53 2010-06-29 05:06:46
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfNah, but it'll cool down the storm a little they figured. I see clearly now, the universe have the black dots, Thus I am on my way of inventing this remedy... #54 2010-06-29 14:45:07
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfThey said the storm will push the oil back toward the coast? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #55 2010-06-29 16:49:10
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfDoesn't sound like a good thing.. I see clearly now, the universe have the black dots, Thus I am on my way of inventing this remedy... #56 2010-06-29 17:19:56
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfNo it doesn't. Tar balls have already been found inland. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfUnpleasant indeed. Last edited by LQ (2010-06-29 18:14:48) I see clearly now, the universe have the black dots, Thus I am on my way of inventing this remedy... #58 2010-06-29 18:13:55
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfCould happen. Hurricane might miss the oil slick. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #59 2010-06-29 18:16:03
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfHow about a cool opposing wind caused by water energy then? I see clearly now, the universe have the black dots, Thus I am on my way of inventing this remedy... #60 2010-06-29 19:03:23
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfWell, if you know of a way to generate a nice cool breeze then Vegas would be interested. They said it was 110 outside but it was more like 122. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #61 2010-06-29 19:06:30
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfFahrenheit? 50 celcius, not that low... Last edited by LQ (2010-06-29 19:08:55) I see clearly now, the universe have the black dots, Thus I am on my way of inventing this remedy... #62 2010-06-29 19:07:40
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfYep. Nasty hot. Killing hot. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #63 2010-06-29 19:19:54
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfThey would need a breeze ey? Last edited by LQ (2010-06-29 19:28:58) I see clearly now, the universe have the black dots, Thus I am on my way of inventing this remedy... #64 2010-06-29 20:06:54
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulf
Yes, water vapor. On certain portions of the strip and in Phoenix they have small nozzles that shoot a fine mist of water on to you as you walk outside. The evaporation off the water on your skin cools you. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #65 2010-06-29 21:20:43
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfA sticky substance, that doesn't fall of. I see clearly now, the universe have the black dots, Thus I am on my way of inventing this remedy... #66 2010-06-30 04:38:25
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfNew idea I published at sciforums: I see clearly now, the universe have the black dots, Thus I am on my way of inventing this remedy... #67 2010-06-30 07:52:57
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulf
Combine? How? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #68 2010-06-30 08:14:27
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfput the filter in a pipe and put it in the hole releasing alot of the gas and not the oil, to remove the preasure I see clearly now, the universe have the black dots, Thus I am on my way of inventing this remedy... #69 2010-06-30 08:18:18
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfDo you know of any such filter? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #70 2010-06-30 08:25:23
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfNo, but I have an idea: A normal gas filter (that can let though the gas) and then you heat the oil under that. I see clearly now, the universe have the black dots, Thus I am on my way of inventing this remedy... #71 2010-06-30 09:42:57
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfWhat is a normal gas filter and how does that work? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #72 2010-06-30 17:15:38
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfBasically something like a plastic filter that is kinda thick, or a glassfiber filter. surely there must exist a possibility of making such a filter? I see clearly now, the universe have the black dots, Thus I am on my way of inventing this remedy... #73 2010-06-30 17:16:55
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfThe pressure would blow the filter right off. They couldn't even cap it. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #74 2010-06-30 17:45:14
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfWell if no filter would've worked, how exactly do you know that? I see clearly now, the universe have the black dots, Thus I am on my way of inventing this remedy... #75 2010-06-30 17:50:14
Re: Make proposals to stopping the oil leakage in the mexican gulfAnything that would block the oil would be like a cap. When they tried to cap it, it broke the seals the pressure is too high. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
