Re: AI to detect celebrity you're thinking of

Wow! I thought of Steve Davis and it correctly guessed my character. Id say that was just a fluke. tongue

He got mine but it took 2 tries.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.
All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof.

Re: AI to detect celebrity you're thinking of

This thing is scary.

It asked me 19 questions, and I gave it maybe 4 yesses and 15 nos. It didn't seem to be focussing in on anything in particular. As far as I can tell, the only thing it knew about my character is that he is a British adult male who works on TV.

Then out of nowhere, the right answer comes up.
I really have no idea how that could have happened.

Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

Right twice so far. Good fun!

Re: AI to detect celebrity you're thinking of

I think of George Cantor
And in the second round it gives Kurt Gdel
Quite close
I guess we have different classificasion of mathematicians into scientists or nonscientists

I don't think they have Eisenstein in there.  Questions kept repeating which meant they reached the end of branch in their tree.

"In the real world, this would be a problem.  But in mathematics, we can just define a place where this problem doesn't exist.  So we'll go ahead and do that now..."

I found this Guess The Number.

If two or more thoughts intersect with each other, then there has to be a point.
