Spelling?I want to be able to change the spelling of words like color/colour, center/centre to suit the visitor. "The physicists defer only to mathematicians, and the mathematicians defer only to God ..." - Leon M. Lederman #2 2010-02-26 10:52:43
Re: Spelling?Hi Maths; In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. I am willing to wager that over 75% of the new words that appeared were nothing more than spelling errors that caught on. #3 2010-02-28 14:41:01

Re: Spelling?I have my Firefox browser set to fr-FR (because I want to) and it is showing me the American spelling instead. Last edited by JaneFairfax (2010-03-01 00:08:39) #9 2010-03-01 07:23:03

That's what I get, and yes, it is correct. I'll be here at least once every month. XP #11 2010-03-01 11:07:35
Re: Spelling?I'll throw in another yay for en-GB being correct. Why did the vector cross the road? It wanted to be normal. #12 2010-03-01 11:24:13
Re: Spelling?
What I mean is, use American English only for en-US browsers. For all other browsers, including non English-language browsers, use British English. Simple?

Re: Spelling?Much as I hate to say it, I think the American spellings are the more commonly used ones. Why did the vector cross the road? It wanted to be normal. #14 2010-03-01 16:20:20

Re: Spelling?
Is it possible to use colour, math, and liter at the same time? (Two languages at the same time) I'll be here at least once every month. XP #16 2010-03-06 12:22:44
