Frankly I am a little miffed.

Hi fellow posters;

Begin rant of the day:

There is a link:

http://www.mathisfunforum.com/viewtopic … 48#p130248

asking you to provide some feedback to improve the forum. Presently there are 2 posts replying and one of them is me. I mean come on. If there was yet another thread tomorrow asking about the shape or color of my head there would be 400 replies. If someone started a thread hinting that Britney Spears was having my child or that I have more wrinkles than Hume Cronyn did, there would be 10000 replies. Sure those things are important, but this is more important.

End rant of the day:

Hi MIF;

This will surely get you some responses or get me killed.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.

Re: Frankly I am a little miffed.

Is that a mutually exclusive or?

"In the real world, this would be a problem.  But in mathematics, we can just define a place where this problem doesn't exist.  So we'll go ahead and do that now..."

Re: Frankly I am a little miffed.

Did you know they used to zero the 8 bit accumulator on the old Z80's with a single instruction: XOR A which would exclusive or A with itself. This was faster and shorter than LD A,0.

Re: Frankly I am a little miffed.

I posted my own little rant at the other thread.

Hi Jane;

Your picture looks well. I am glad.

A somewhat enigmatic post. Do you want me to go over and read it? Okay I have done that. Fascinating!
