Finally, NASA relents

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.

Re: Finally, NASA relents

I remember this being rather hard to believe when it was first announced.

But now they think it may really be true? Wow!

Hi MathsisFun;

Now if they only would relent about how it got here! Maybe in another 12-13 years...

If we last that long. 2012, remember. Boom. Or Poof. I'll be twenty-five... That's kind of scary.

Hi Tigeree;

You will be 25 in 2012? Are you sure?

25 in 2012 . . . dang I feel old.  tongue

Anyways.  It's good to know we've finally found some form of life out there.  Now if we could only find evidence of intelligent life.

I think, therefore you are.

Re: Finally, NASA relents

Yes, I'm sure, I think. If I was 22 last year... yes, because I'll be 23 this year and 2012 is two years away in which I will turn 25. Besides, the movie said the exact date of doomsday will be 21st of December 2012. Which is 5 months after my 25th birthday. Y'know what will be funny? That we'll probably get our desalination plant up and finished in 2011 and the next year is the end of Earth anyway. Lol.

Re: Finally, NASA relents

Their not grim thoughts. You asked if I was sure, and I was simply explaining why I was. Besides, why do people keep saying that? Why do I need to cheer up? why doesn't everyone else just ... well, y'know the opposite?

Re: Finally, NASA relents

You mean they should grim down? Maybe you are right but since life is going to happen regardless of how you feel, why suffer?

Yes, grim down, that's it! What suffering? My suffering? My only suffering is little kids attacking me on the street. They know where I live!

I have been putting that Kung Fu class off a couple years, Yes, it's time. Then those little gremlins will pay. Excellent....

Luke! Don't give in to hate, that leads to the dark side - Obi Wan Kenobi

Karate chopping little kids might be illegal in your area. You might want to check that before crushing some larynges.

Re: Finally, NASA relents

It's too late, Obi Wan! BTW, Karate and Kung Fu are two different things, technically. "Karate chopping little kids" totally reminds me of what Anakin did in Star Wars Robot Chicken: Episode two. He chopped up little jedi kids with his light saber. Anyway, if it is illegal then that's just too bad.

Gung Fu is a branch of Karate. I would hate to be posting to you while you were in jail. Anyway, Karate teaches restraint.

I know, Sensei. Me? Go to jail? You don't know how fast I can run. It would take many a destroyed little gremlin to get me in jail.

Listen, no matter how fast you think you are, there is always somebody faster. Anyway, girls are not fast.

Of course they are, what you think we run in heels everywhere? I don't even own a pair of heels. If you ever see, or read, "Bridge to Terabithia" you will know that girls are faster.

I was saying bullfeathers to the propaganda that women are faster. Did you get that from the lifetime channel?

I don't have a lifetime channel. I know, but in my country we say baulderdash, well, at least my mum does, which is the only thing I can say. On behalf of Oz, too. Besides, I could out run you any day!
